Not in front of you
Not behind you
I stand with you
Right next to you
I have your back
Never needing to double check
I will be there
But WHERE are YOU?!?!?

Fear of being forgotten
but wanting to be alone
Thinking everyone has forgotten
not one remembering
Remembering nothing
They all have forgotten
Forgotten everything
Wanting to be forgotten
No one needs to remember
No memories
No nothing
Only to be forgotten.

You look me in the eyes
You lie through your teeth
Making believable stories
Coming up with great made up excuses

I believe the things you say
I trust your every word
Like every "true friend" should
I you told you everything
I trusted my secrets within your care
I relied on you
Everything I thought you were
You never were
You looked me in eyes
you lie through teeth
Stabbed me in the back
with a knife of dishonestly and lies
Then turned it a number of times
But your mad at me?
I am in the wrong?
Funny how things work
But you can have your knife back
Because I am sure you will be needing it again
